Reservation Guidelines

To use our reservation service, reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your requested pickup time.

After making a reservation, please be sure to check your Confirmation Message.
If you do not receive a confirmation message, your reservation is considered incomplete.

Please make reservations only when necessary.
Excessive reservations place unnecessary strain on our dispatching system and reduce its operational flexibility.

Our dispatchers continuously evaluate real-time traffic conditions, the number of vehicles in service, and nearby vehicle availability to assign taxis as efficiently as possible.
However, when the number of reservations becomes too high, our ability to respond to changing conditions may be significantly reduced. We kindly ask for your cooperation in using the reservation service responsibly.
For reservations within the General Service Area, we ask that reservations be limited to situations where:

You must depart at a specific time.

Your destination is far enough that advance scheduling is necessary.
In Pony Taxi's primary service areas—Downtown, Ala Moana, Waikiki, and Kaimuki—a taxi can typically arrive within about 10 minutes. Service to Kahala and Salt Lake is also generally available within 20 minutes.
